Who this is

Paul mentions his intention to visit Spain on his way from Rome, hoping the Roman church would help him on his journey after he had first delivered the collection for Jerusalem's poor (Rom. 15:24, 28). Whether he ever reached Spain is uncertain; the book of Acts ends with him under house arrest in Rome without recording the trip, though early Christian tradition holds that he was released and completed the journey before his final imprisonment and execution.
