Who this is
Tahan was a descendant of Ephraim and the ancestral head of the Tahanite clan (Numbers 26:35). In the parallel genealogy in 1 Chronicles 7:25, he appears as the son of Telah rather than directly of Ephraim, one of several small discrepancies between the tribal lists.
