Tel-haresha, hill of the wood, was a place in Babylonia from which a group of exiles returned to Jerusalem after the exile, listed alongside Tel-melah among those who could not prove their Israelite genealogy (Ezra 2:59; Nehemiah 7:61). Its Babylonian location has not been identified.
