Who this is

A city belonging to Hadadezer, the Aramean king of Zobah, from which David took large quantities of bronze after defeating him (1 Chronicles 18:8); the parallel account in 2 Samuel 8:8 calls the same city Betah. Solomon later used bronze from this campaign to make furnishings for the temple.
