Zareah, better known as Zorah, was a town on the border of Judah and Dan and the hometown of Samson. It was there that the angel of the Lord announced his birth to Manoah's wife, and the Spirit of the Lord began to stir him between Zorah and Eshtaol. Danite spies set out from Zorah to scout territory for their tribe's migration north, and Samson was buried between Zorah and Eshtaol in his father's tomb.
