Who this is

Zereda was a town on the north side of Mount Ephraim, the birthplace of Jeroboam, who later led the ten tribes into revolt against Solomon's son (1 Kings 11:26). It is probably the same place, spelled Zarethan, associated with the clay ground where Solomon's bronze temple furnishings were cast (2 Chronicles 4:17), and has also been connected with the Zererath of Judges 7:22.
